DOWE, Lola F. - 66, Templar Street, Parrsboro, passed away Monday, September 8, 2003, in South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Brookdale, she was the daughter of the late Denzil and Flora Dow. Early in her life, she was employed at the telephone office in Parrsboro for MT&T. She later worked at the CIBC, Parrsboro, for 29 years retiring in 1987. She was a member of Trinity United Church and canvassed for numerous charities for many years. She is survived by son, Stanley (Ann), Parrsboro; granddaughter, Ashley. She was predeceased by her husband, Lorne. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Wednesday in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, followed by a graveside committal service at 11 a.m. in Parrsboro United Cemetery, Rev. Donna Lovelace officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
