D'Souza, Juliana (Harf) - 67, of Prince Street, Parrsboro died Saturday, July 10, 2000 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Bombay, India, she was the daughter of the late Zacharias and Estrina (Velho) Vas. She was a graduate of Bombay University. She taught school in india for six years and in Parrsboro for twenty five years. She was a member of St. Brigid's Catholic Church, Parrsboro. She was active in the Catholic Legion of Mary while in Bombay. She is survived by her husband, Michael; daughters, Anne Marie, Elizabeth Juliana, and Esther Lia, all of Halifax; sisters, Jessie Rebello Panjim, Goa, India; Linda Rodriguez, Ontario. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today (Monday) at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Brigid's Catholic Church, Parrsboro , Father Gaetan Banyog-enne officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
