Bezanson, Gladys - 80, of 1186 Queen Street, Halifax died Wednesday, September 27, 2000 at the Queen Elizabeth Health Sciences Centre (Infirmary Site), Halifax. Born in Whales, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Griffiths. She was a veteran of the Second World War serving with the British Army. She was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Halifax. She is survived by two daughters, Edna Miller, and her husband, John, Dartmouth; Lynda Davis, and her husband, Basil Jr., Lower Five Islands; five grandchildren, Debbie Rogers; John Miller, Carol Anne Miller, all of Dartmouth; Shauna Allen, and her husband, Gordon, Greenfield; Terry Davis, and his wife Marylou, Bible Hill; six great-grandchildren, Christopher and Dana Rogers, Tyler and Jessica Allen, Julia and Brady Davis. She was predeceased by an infant son, Terrance Maxwell. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Burial in the Five Islands Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
