LITTLEJOHN, RONALD – 63, of Parrsboro, Cumberland County died Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at home. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, he was the son of the late Alexander Littlejohn and Margaret (Graham) (Littlejohn) Rankin and her husband, Stanley, Bramalea, Ont. He served with the British Merchant Navy for 6 years. He came to Canada in 1964 and was employed with Douglas Aircraft for 10 years. He later moved to Nova Scotia in 1974 and was employed with Parrsboro Metal Fabricators for more than 22 years. He was a member of Legion Branch #45, Parrsboro for 33 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Linda McCully; sons, Shaun Littlejohn, Kyle Littlejohn, both of Parrsboro; Garry Christiansen, London, Ont.; Ray Christiansen, Mississauga, Ont.; a sister, Sheena (Calvin) Loveday, Bramalea, Ont.; brother, Alexander “Sonny” (Rose), Pefferlaw, Ont.; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, funeral 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Ralph Morris officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro United Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to charity of choice.
