R.J. Wheaton & August Hope Wheaton
WHEATON, RJ Harlen (Age 3) and August Hope (Age 1) of Truro, and formerly of Parrsboro died tragically as the result of a house fire on October 31, 2002. Both were born in Amherst and were the children of Richard Wheaton, Parrsboro and Nadine Preston, Truro. They are survived by a sister, Courtney Preston, Earltown; a brother, Taren Wheaton, Truro; maternal grandparents, Guy Preston, Earltown and Joanne Gamble, Dartmouth; paternal grandparents, Sid and Pam Boyde, Port Greville and Charles Wheaton, New Canaan; great grandparents, Vic and Ruth Preston, Vimy, AB; Glenora Gamble, Bass River; Donna Wheaton, Advocate Harbour; great-great grandmother, Doris Johnston; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. They were predeceased by great grandparents, Leo and Margaret Tibbetts. Funeral will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Robert Richmond officiating. Burial in St. John’s Cemetery, Diligent River. A trust fund has been established where donations may be made to the Truro and Parrsboro Branches of the Royal Bank or to the Parrsboro Branch of the CIBC.
