Henwood, Stanley E. – 87, of Lakelands, Cumberland County passed away Sunday, October 12, 2003 in the Moncton City Hospital. Born in River Hebert, he was a son of the late Merton and Beulah (DeMille) Henwood. He was a foreman for the Department of Highways for twenty-five years and a truck driver for Harrison’s and Hanna lumber mills for many years. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Fader; a daughter, Marilyn Wilson (George), Amherst; a grandson, Peter (Martina); three great grandchildren, Stephanie, Kelly, and Robin, Yellowknife; sisters, Muriel MacAloney, Shirley Forbes; brother, Wylie (Judy Dowe), all of Parrsboro. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Monday in Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Mark Pretty officiating. Burial in St. Georges Cemetery, Parrsboro. Memorial donations may be made to South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro.
