Mills, Gertrude – 87, of Greenhill, Cumberland County passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Charlotte (MacKenzie) Bardsley. She is survived by daughters, Carol Lafond (Roger), Greenhill; Diane MacDougall, Barrie, Ont.; a son, Allison (Sandra), Parrsboro; a sister, Mrs. Helen Works, Truro; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband, Duncan; daughter, Floy; a sister, Madeline; brothers, Mick and Floyd. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Access-a-Bus Fund of South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro.
