1967 - 2004

Dowe, Craig K. – 36, of Halifax, and formerly of Diligent River passed away Monday, March 22, 2004 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre (Infirmary Site), Halifax surrounded by his loving family. Born in Parrsboro, he was the son of Kenneth and Carol (Colpitts) Dowe, Diligent River. He attended Parrsboro Regional High School and later graduated from Nova Scotia Community College in Springhill as an electrician. He worked for numerous companies as an electrician. He enjoyed many sports, as well as driving motorcycles, snowmobiling and traveling. He also enjoyed modeling appearing in local calendars for charity, as well as appearances on local television stations. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends, both in Halifax and in the Parrsboro area. He truly enjoyed life and lived each day to its fullest. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Darcy (Andrew Sterling), Diligent River; a brother, Corey, Diligent River; nephew, Cole; maternal grandmother, Jean (Lilley) Colpitts. Visitation 6-9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday at the Port Greville United Church, Rev. Donna Lovelace officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
