Willigar, Lloyd B. – 78, of Smith Hollow Road, Kirkhill passed away suddenly on Friday, November 19, 2004 at Kirkhill as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Born at Parrsboro Roads, he was the son of the late Melvin and Reta (Bennett) Willigar. He is survived by his wife, the former Roberta (Pettigrew) Bennett; daughters, Linda MacNeil, Edmonton; Donna Hawkins, Bay Bulls, Nfld.; Debbie Sellons, Parrsboro; Patty Willigar, Parrsboro; Brenda Allen (Thearon), Moose River; son, Lloyd Jr. (Linda), Lakelands; step-daughter, Diane Skidmore (Carl), Kirkhill; step-sons, Gerald Bennett (Mary), Florida; Cameron Bennett (Brenda), Oshawa; sisters, Viola Davis, Parrsboro; Maisie Skidmore, Kirkhill; Alice Boss (Jerry), Attleboro, Mass.; Judy Durning (Ted), Economy; brothers, Trueman (Mary), Moose River; Carl (Suzann), Moose River; Douglas (Sharon), Back Bay, New Brunswick; Roy (Cora), Victoria, B.C.; 28 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two brothers and two sisters in infancy. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2004 at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral 3 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2004 at St. George’s Anglican Church, Parrsboro, Rev. Mark Pretty officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. George’s Anglican Church or to the Cumberland Careers Bursary Program.
