Sterling, Marjorie P. - 80, of Parrsboro passed away Sunday, June 12, 2005 at Sackville Memorial Hospital, Sackville, New Brunswick surrounded by her loving family. For the past 7 months, she had resided in Sackville with her granddaughter, Dawn Richards. Born in Parrsboro, she was the daughter of the late George and Hilda (MacAloney) Patterson. She is survived by daughters, Sandra Mills (Allison), Parrsboro; Merna Lummiss (Dennis), Goodwood, Ont.; Gina Clarke (Paul), Two Islands; a son, Brian (Janet), Two Islands; sisters, Leona Thompson, Parrsboro; Ruth MacAloney, Two Islands; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Rebecca and Kathleen. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2005, Rev. Mark Pretty officiating. Burial in St. George’s Anglican Cemetery, Parrsboro. Memorial donations may be made to the IWK Children’s Hospital Foundation or to a charity of choice.
