ELLIOTT, BERNARD L. – 88, of Advocate Harbour, Cumberland County passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Advocate Harbour, he was a son of the late Bamish and Theresa (Knowlton) Elliott. He was a retired farmer and lumberman. He is survived by his wife, the former Ethel DeWitt; daughters, Shirley Benjamin (Aubrey), Halifax; Roseann Lamb, Terrace, BC; a son, Gordon (Sandra), Advocate Harbour; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson, Scott; three sisters, Lulu, Connie, Mary; brothers, Harold, Trueman in infancy. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Chignecto Manor, Advocate Harbour or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
