FITZSIMMONS, Albert J. - 92, Whitehall Road, Parrsboro, passed away Monday, April 17, 2006, in South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Stanley, N.B., he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Colford) Fitzsimmons. He was a veteran of the Second World War serving with the Army (RCA). He was a retired forestry worker. He is survived by his wife, the former Eileen George; daughter, Beverly Henwood, Hamilton, Ont.; sister, Laura Fitizsimmons, Weavers Siding, N.B.; granddaughters, Janice Henwood, Kenora, Ont.; Carol Henwood, Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Cole, Janai, Erykah, Olivia, Kian. He was predeceased by sisters, Martha, Helen, Mina, Eileen, Cassie; brothers, John, Steven. Funeral service 4 p.m. on Friday, April 21, in Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Father David MacDonald officiating. Burial in St. Brigid’s Catholic Cemetery, Parrsboro. Memorial donations may be made to South Cumberland Community Care Centre Foundation.
