Krumrei, Dorothy C. – 90, of Parrsboro, and formerly of Parrsboro Roads, passed away Monday, October 2, 2006 at All Saints Hospital, Springhill. Born in Parrsboro Roads, she was a daughter of the late John and Emma (Phinney) Desmond. She is survived by daughters, Helen Butt (Dexter), Richmond Hill, Ont.; Debbie McAvoy (Gary), Dartmouth; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert; sisters, Verna, Grace, Rachel, Veronica, Eva, Beatrice, Bernice; a brother, Morris. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral 2 p.m. Friday at Christ Church, Parrsboro Roads, Rev. Mark Pretty officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Christ Church Cemetery or to a charity of choice.
