BOUTILIER, Joyce Aileen - 70, Ward’s Brook, Cumberland Co., passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006, in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Beaver Bank, Halifax Co., she was a daughter of the late Earl and Doris (Paley) Boutilier. She is survived by her husband, James Hovey; daughters, Brenda Trombley (Robert), Port Hardy, B.C.; Juliann Ashley (Lorne Heighton), Meadowville, Pictou Co.; sons, Earl Ashley, Lantz; Daniel Ashley (Theresa), Noel; stepson, Peter Hovey, Toronto; sisters, Barbara Westbury (Edward Baker), Halifax; Millie Soubliere (Bob), Beaver Bank; Peggy Barter (Dorman), Belyea Cove, N.B.; brother, Gerald Boutilier (Jackie), Fox River; grandchildren, Sarah Martin, Matthew Trombley, Randall Smith, Nicholas Smith, Brianne Ashley; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by stepdaughter, Karen; son, Bruce Ashley; a sister in infancy; brothers, Gordon and Ross. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2006 in Port Greville Baptist Church, Rev. Philip Scott officiating. Burial in Fox River Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
