Henwood, Ruth A. – 82, of Lakelands and Parrsboro passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late William and Winnifred (Smith) Fader. She was a life member of the West Brook-Halfway River Women’s Institute and the Parrsboro Lionette’s Club. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Wilson (George), Amherst; a grandson, Peter (Martina), Winnipeg; three great grandchildren, Stephanie, Kelly, and Robin, Winnipeg; a brother, Gerald Fader (Rosella), Parrsboro. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley; a brother, Vincent. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2007 at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday (June 12, 2007), Archdeacon Glenn Eason officiating. Burial in St. George’s Anglican Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to South Cumberland Community Care Centre Foundation or St. George’s Anglican Church.
