PETTIGREW, Jean Marie - 77, of Lakelands, Cumberland County passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007, at home. Born in Lakelands, she was a daughter of Medley and Gladys (Rector) Meldrum. She is survived by sons, Larry (Marie Jeanne), Truro; Eugene (Susan), Dartmouth; Ivan (Sandi), South Carolina; Shannon, Springhill; grandchildren, Phillip, Paul, Andre, Elizabeth, and Benjamin; brother, Norby, Halfway River; special friends, Lynn and Jeff Hanna, Lakelands. She was predeceased by husband, Burchell; sister, Elsie; brother, Laurie. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday (July 4, 2007), Rev. Sandra Riddell officiating. Burial in the United Church Cemetery, Parrsboro. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
