LUNN, Yvonne N. - 76, Parrsboro, Cumberland Co., passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Advocate Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Marven "Mike" and Rona (Elliott) McNally. She is survived by her children, Albert (Beulah), Riverview, N.B.; Ferne Oliver (Darrell), Canterbury, N.B.; Sidney (Gayle), New Haven, P.E.I.; Douglas (Gail), Carrying Place, Ont.; Sonia Bubar (Derrick), Bonnyville, Alta.; Mary Lynn, Dartmouth; John (Kimberley), Kensington, P.E.I.; sisters, Phyllis Canton (Don), Amherst; Inez Bamford (Ron), Advocate Harbour; brother, Marvin McNally (Edith), Halifax; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and an aunt, Ethel Clarke (Earl), Advocate Harbour. She was predeceased by her husband, Vernon, in 1996; sisters, Lois Ripley, Ruth Davis; great-granddaughter, Chelsea Durant. Visitation will be held from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday [January 25, 2008] in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday [January 26, 2008] in Advocate Baptist Church, Rev. Donald Hirtle officiating. Burial in Advocate Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the IWK Health Centre Foundation, the Nova Scotia branch of the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of choice.
