MORRIS, Erma G. - 90, Spencer’s Island, Cumberland County passed away Thursday, October 9, 2008, in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Advocate Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Elma (Elliott) Cole. She is survived by daughters, Geraldine Benteau (John), Dartmouth; Carol Bennett (Murray), Amherst; Kathy Comeau (Joseph), Dartmouth; son, Gary (Donna), Dartmouth; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, William, in 1988; daughter, Muriel; sisters, Josephine and Jennie; brothers, Clarence, Carl, Allison, Clifton, Orion, and Glendon. Visitation 2-3 p.m. Saturday [October 11, 2008] in Spencer’s Island Union Church where funeral service will follow at 3 p.m., Rev. Donald Hirtle officiating. Burial in Advocate Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Chignecto Manor, Advocate Harbour or to the Spencer’s Island Union Church.
