LAKE-MCGRATH, JORDAN R. - 18, of Parrsboro, Cumberland Co. passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 5, 2010 in Maccan as the result of a tragic accident. Born in Amherst, he was a son of Harold and Julie (Hughes) McGrath, Parrsboro, and James Lake (Geraldine), Truro. He is survived by brothers, Justin Lake, Ottawa; John Lake (Charlotte), Halifax; Jamie Lake (Jennifer), Hamilton, Ont.; Sherman McGrath, Parrsboro; maternal grandmother, Irma Hughes, Parrsboro; paternal grandmother, Elaine Lake, New Prospect; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Saturday [August 7, 2010] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral 2 p.m. Sunday [August 8, 2010] at the Parrsboro Baptist Church, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Burial in St. George’s Cemetery, Parrsboro. Memorial donations may be made to the sports programs of Parrsboro Regional High School, Parrsboro.
