MCCULLY, Gerald R. – 81, of Parrsboro passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Robert and Emily (Corbin) McCully. He was a retired lumberman and construction worker. He is survived by sons, Grant (Lynn), Gravenhurst, Ont.; Edward (Anne), Charles (Ruth), all of Parrsboro; a sister, Madeleine McNeil, Dartmouth; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene; a sister, Jessie; brothers, Lloyd, Kenneth, Hector, Archie. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday [March 8, 2011] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday [March 9, 2011] at Grace United Church, Port Greville, Rev. Keith Selwyn-Smith officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Grace United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
