JORDAN, GARY EDMUND – 55, of Birch Hill Road, Bass River passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born at Folly Mountain, he was a son of Dorothy (Bannister) Jordan, Great Village and the late John Jordan. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, the former Beverly Rushton; a daughter, Tonya Jordan (Clint Vance), Bass River; sisters, Darlene, Great Village; Margurite, Debert; Paulette, Clinton, Ont.; Phyllis, Great Village; sister-in-laws, Annette McLellan, Dartmouth; Rosemary Canning, Truro; brother-in-law, Michael Rushton (Jennifer), White’s Lake; 2 grandsons, Brandon and Michael. He was predeceased by a sister, Linda; brother, Donald and Jackie. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Bass River Medical Centre or the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
