DURANT, BEATRICE F. – 69, of Parrsboro passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Elsie (Phinney) Taylor. She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie McCulley (Chris), Parrsboro; sons, Kendell (Gail), Parrsboro; Larry (Annette), Nampa, Alberta; Mark (Kim), Parrsboro; brothers, Allan (Shane); Gary; Cleveland, all of Parrsboro; grandchildren, Autumn Durant, Richard Durant, Krista Durant, Joshua McCulley, Lucas Durant, Austin McCulley, Ryan Durant, Fallon McCulley; great-grandchildren, Ethan Durant, Bradley Durant, Brandon Durant, Nevaeh Durant; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard in 1988; a grandson, Gary; a sister, Jean Spencer; brothers, Roland, Robert, Verland, Gerald, Fred, Ralph, Lawrence. Funeral 2 p.m. on Thursday [September 1, 2011] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to South Cumberland Community Care Centre Foundation.
