TOWNS, LINDA M. – 63, of Parrsboro passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 28, 2012 in London, England. Born in Toronto, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Doris (Hebden) Hobbs. She is survived by her husband, David; daughters, Bronwyn Lavado (Clint), Toronto; Meaghan Towns, Toronto; a son, Dearran (Melissa Thayer), Saint John, NB; a grandson, Aiden Towns; a sister, Jeanette Hobbs, Toronto; two brothers, Robert Hobbs (Theresa), Mississauga; Ronald Hobbs (Misty), Mississauga; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Dianne. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday [May 9, 2012] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
