LEBLANC, ARTHUR J. – 81, of Five Islands, Colchester Co. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we his family, announce Arthur’s passing on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born at Cap-Pelé, N.B., he was a son of the late Alfred and Justine LeBlanc. He was a lover of the sea, who spent his entire life harvesting the “creatures” of the bay. He will always be remembered for his big clams. Arthur is survived by his daughter, Tammy Grue (Alfred), Bass River; grandchildren, Aaron and Bryan; brothers, Henri and Randolph; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Zelma, Annie, Edmée; brothers, Alban, Robert, Adrice, Ulysse and Francois. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday [June 23, 2012] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Deacon Howie Goldstein officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.
