Sencabaugh, Josephine S. “Jo” – 96, of Parrsboro passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Olive (Sweet) Brown. Jo was a devoted member of the Parrsboro Baptist Church and active with the Willing Workers and Women’s Missionary Society for many years. She is survived by a son, Gordon, Parrsboro; a sister, Rose Whalen, Kentville; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawson; a son, Carson on November 21, 2013; sisters, Alice, Betty, Ester; brothers, Murray, Bruce. Special thanks are extended to nephew, Lewis Brown and his wife Shirley for being there when needed. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday [December 10, 2013] at Parrsboro Baptist Church, Pastor Marie McCallum officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parrsboro Baptist Church or to a charity of choice.
