Lawrence B. MacAloney
MacAloney, Lawrence B. “Lorie” – Age 76, of Advocate Harbour passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan surrounded by family. Born in New Salem, he was a son of the late Emerson and Marie (Morris) MacAloney. He is survived by his wife, the former Arlene Cole; daughters, Linda Fletcher (Derrick), Advocate Harbour; Sandra Cook (Richard), Cockeysville, Md.; grandchildren, Lindsay Fletcher, Advocate Harbour; Jeanna Lynn Fletcher, Fredericton; sisters, Silverine “Sib” Brodeur, Woodstock, Ont.; Ann Ward (Ralph), Kingston; Doreen Brodeur (Roy), Truro; Kaye Mutch (Wayne), Woodstock, Ont.; Nora Neves, Dartmouth; brothers, Gordon (Donna), Woodstock, Ont.; Archie, Alberta; David (Irene Morris), New Salem; brother in law, Arlie Cole (June Reed), Springhill; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers, Paul, Harold, Roger and Arden. As per Lorie's wishes, a private family graveside service will be held in the Advocate Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to the Canadian Cancer Society. |
