As well, she was well known for working the “outside canteen” during Old Home Week. A special thank you to all of the staff at South Cumberland Community Care Centre for their patience and love during her stay there. Also, to Dr. Dan Milner for his gentle, caring manner that he shared with her family. She leaves behind her devoted and loving husband of 49 years, Merton; her daughter, Treena Grace (Shawn), Antigonish; her son, Joe (Pam), Shubenacadie; grandchildren, Andrew, Nicole, Mitchell, Kendal and Landen; sisters, Dorothy, Carole, Jacque, Shane, Linda, Theresa, Rosie; brothers, Richard, Stanford, Rory; her friend and aunt, Marg Winters; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
