Ronald O. Levy
1933 - 2016

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of our father, Ronald Olaf Levy. He passed away on Sunday, July 24th, 2016. He was predeceased by his wife Sally of 56 years. They were the proud parents of Louanne Henwood (Eric), Michael Levy (Timi), Glenn Levy (Cathy), Debbi Kay (Jeff), Krista Odlin (Keith) and Lana Yorke (Justin); 15 grandchildren, Gregory, Katherine, Andrea, Megan, Jennifer, Brian, Anita, Joshua, Mattia, Matthew, Alexander, Rhianna, Iain, Sadie and Chloe; and two great grandchildren, Jacob and Winter. Having spent his early years on Little Tancook Island, he was the son of the late Harold and Janet Levy. He was well known for his active involvement in his church and numerous community organizations for many years. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. A humble man, he leaves behind a legacy of generosity, creative spirit, determination, strength, dedication, hope and the ability to think outside the box.

He is Gone

You can shed tears that he is gone,
Or you can smile because he lived,
You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see him
Or you can be full of the love that you shared,
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember him and only that he is gone
Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on,
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back,
Or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes,
love and go on.
