Delaney, Victor R. – Age 81, of Parrsboro passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Wilbert and Minnie (Jeffers) Delaney. He is survived by a sister, Marion McGovern, New York; a brother, Stuart (Margery), Massachusetts; nieces, Linda (Todd) Snyder, New Hampshire; Kathleen Delaney, Massachusetts; nephews, Patrick (Kilvia) Delaney, North Carolina; Kevin Delaney, Massachusetts; great nieces and nephews, Caroline, Luke, Molly, Matthew, Sophia, Max and Cristina. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. in Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Marlene Quinn officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro United Cemetery. Reception to follow at Legion Branch #45, Parrsboro. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
