Wood, Sandra E. “Sandy” – Age 59, of Parrsboro passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Infirmary Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of Ronald ‘Donnie’ Wood, and the late Edith (DeBaie) Wood. She is survived by sisters, Debbie Wood, Parrsboro Roads; Sharon Doncaster, Parrsboro; Lisa Shea (Justin), Parrsboro; brothers, John Henwood, Hamilton, Ont.; Roger Wood (Pam Caine), New Hampshire; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Donna; brother, Dale; a nephew, Thomas Smith. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 6-8pm at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Pastor Doug Lake officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro United Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Canada
