Spicer, Daniel D. – Age 24, of Advocate Harbour passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 12, 2016 in Advocate Harbour. Born in Truro, he was a son of Linda Shepherd, Advocate Harbour and Stephen Spicer, Amherst. He is survived by sisters, Tammy Bennett (Nick), Parrsboro; Jamie White (Tony), Halifax; Amy Spicer, Advocate Harbour; brothers, Matthew Shepherd (Misty Currie), Aylesford; Allen Shepherd (Rosemary Morris), Advocate Harbour; David Shepherd (Erin), Bridgewater; Alex Spicer, Halifax; David Yaciuk, Yarmouth; a niece, Trinity Bennett, Parrsboro; nephews, Owen Shepherd (Makayla Rice), Digby; Leigh Shepherd, Aylesford; Jacob Bennett, Parrsboro; paternal grandparents, Duncan and Louise (Wasson) Spicer, Apple River. He was predeceased by a sister, April Spicer. A graveside committal service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the Advocate Cemetery. All are welcome. A celebration gathering of Daniel’s life will follow at the Advocate Log Cabin on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 3-5 pm. Once again, all are invited to attend. Memorial donations may be made to the Advocate Fire Department.
