Bowden, Arthur A. – Age 69, of Parrsboro passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Fox River, he was a son of the late Donald and Neta (Yorke) Bowden. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time at his camp. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, the former Darlene Spicer; his children, Allyson Welsh (Kristopher), Diligent River; Katelyn (Amanda Reid), Moncton; Nick (Kristy Brown), Charlottetown; Khris (Kyla MacLellan), Moncton; grandchildren, Kennedy and Kaleigh Welsh, Diligent River; sisters, Maxine Bowden, Betty Johnson (Bob), all of Diligent River; Lisa West (John), Fox River; brothers, Ivan (Arlene), Middle Sackville; Maurice (Kathy), Diligent River; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Donna. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Lillian Allbon Animal Shelter, Amherst.
