Ruth B. (Falkenham) Brown
1922 - 2016
Brown (Falkenham), Ruth B. – Age 94, of Brampton,
Ont. and formerly of Parrsboro passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Grace
Manor, Brampton, Ont. Born in Athol, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and
Barbara (Porter) Cotton. Ruth is survived by daughters, Camilla Larocque,
Oshawa, Ont.; Mary Stamp (Paul), Brampton, Ont.; 13 grandchildren; 27
great-grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her
first husband, Lawson Falkenham; her second husband, Ernest Brown; daughters,
Berneice, Rhoda; a grandson, Larry; sisters, Janie, Annie, Ella, Mabel;
brothers, James, Alton. Visitation and graveside committal services, followed by
a reception were held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia.
A 'Celebration of Life' gathering for Ruth will take place on Sunday, December
4, 2016 at the Thornton Dundee Community Centre [210 Thornton Road North] in
Oshawa, Ontario from 12 to 3 pm. All are welcome! Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation of Canada.
