Yorke, Christena J. 'Chrissie' – Age 87 of Halifax, and formerly of Diligent River passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Arborstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Diligent River, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Salter) Manuge. She is survived by a daughter, Susan “Sue” (Les) Moulton, Halifax; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clayton in 2015. Visitation will be held 12-2 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., the Rev. Brock Shaver officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro United Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Paul’s United Church, Spryfield or to a charity of choice.
