Earl L. Fulton 

Fulton, Earl L. - Age 71, of Parrsboro passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro surrounded by family. Born in Springhill, he was the eldest son of the late Murray and Marguerite (Willigar) Fulton. Earl was a modest man who enjoyed working in the garage, fishing on his boat and having a cup of coffee with family and friends. Earl was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He is survived by his children, Darien, Charlie (Shelly), Jeremy (Lesley), Jason (Jessica Wheaton), Krista (Steven Ripley), all of Parrsboro; Donald (Melanie Morris), Dartmouth; sisters, Mary Babineau (Allan), Ruth McCulley (Charles), Darlene Harroun, all of Parrsboro; Dorothy Logan, West Brook; brothers, Murray Jr., John (Martha Terfry), David (Cathy), all of Parrsboro. Earl often joked about wanting to win the lottery, but in later years realized he had been a millionaire his whole life because of the 16 grandchildren he was blessed with who affectionately called him “Pup”. Pup is lovingly remembered by Baylee, Kristi-Anna, Avery, Raine, Claudia, Keelan, Gabriel, Riley, Abby, Brandon, Callie, Lily, Mack, Darcy, Denver and Jake. He was also survived by his former wife, Bernice (Gilbert) Fulton, Parrsboro; his companion, Elta Sutherland, Pictou; chosen children, James McAndrew, Diligent River; Jillian Durant, Red Deer, Alta.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Earl was predeceased by a brother in law, Charles Logan. In keeping with Earl’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be placed near his boat at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the IWK Foundation or to a charity of choice.
