Newton-Young, Lois-Jean A.- Age 82, of Parrsboro passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel (Newcombe) Feindell. She is survived by her husband, David Young; a son, Michael Massey, Surrey, B.C.; granddaughters, Samantha Shaw (Josh Hebb), Halifax; Ashlee Shaw, Surrey, B.C.; a sister, Amy Stewart, Halifax; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth. Visitation 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral service 2 p.m. on Monday [August 27, 2018] at St. George’s Anglican Church, Parrsboro, Rev. Dr. Brian Spence officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Reception to follow at St. George’s Anglican Church Hall, Parrsboro. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
