 Gallant, Hubert J. “Bert” – Age 69, of Southampton passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Shediac, he was a son of the late Eugene and Florence (Melanson) Gallant. He is survived by his wife, the former Kathy Morris; a daughter, Heidi Pigdon (Shawn), Fairview, Alta.; sons, Jamie Gallant, BC; Jason Jacob (Julie), Tracadie, NB; Austin Gallant (Kelly), Bass River; a sister, Marie Morris (Myles), Southampton; a brother, Raymond, Moncton; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. As well, his father-in-law (but more importantly his best friend), Dallas Morris, West Brook. He was predeceased by brothers, Roger, Claude, Paul. In keeping with Bert’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
