Taylor, Audrey M. – Age 81, of Parrsboro passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Edna (Wasson) Parker. Audrey was a Life Member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 45, Parrsboro, and served more than 25 years with the Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was proud of her work with the Legion holding posts of Past Officer, Executive Committee, Veteran’s Service Award, 2nd Vice President and member of the Poppy Committee. She is survived by sons, Michael “Mike” Parker, Parrsboro; William “Billy” Parker (Beth), Saint John, N.B.; Arthur Parker, Parrsboro; a sister, Betty Sussey, Saint John, N.B.; grandchildren, Jennifer Parker (Emily), Jonathan Parker, Saint John; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald; a brother Robert. In keeping with Audrey’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
