Smith, Allison L. - Age 85, of Parrsboro passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at the Moncton City Hospital. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Colby and Ida (Hunter) Smith. Allison was a retired mechanic working at several garages. He enjoyed hunting, baking with his wife Shirley, his morning drive to town, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Pettigrew); a son, David (Dawn Thompson), Parrsboro; a sister, Marjorie Hannam, Kentville; a brother, Curtis (Rose); a grandson Colin, Parrsboro; numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service to be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Parrsboro United Cemetery. All are invited to the family home at the base of Kirkhill following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
