Janice E. Bennett Obituary

Bennett, Janice E. – Age 48, of Amherst, and formerly of Southampton, passed away courageously on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Northumberland Hall (Shannex), Amherst after a 19 year journey with cancer, with family by her side. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of Willis and Elaine (Siddall) Bennett, Southampton. Besides her parents, she is survived by her sister, Patsy Bennett (Billy Lucci), Amherst; a brother, Mark, Fenwick; nephews, Jordan Bennett (Erica Wilson), Justin Bennett; a great nephew, Bauer. Also, her earth angels “special aunties”, Joyce Collins and Wendy Siddall; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who were so very special to her in each their own way. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions and in consideration of safe gathering limits, a private family funeral will be held. A public ‘Celebration of Janice’s Life’ will be announced as restrictions are lifted. Memorial donations may be made to the Cumberland Health Care Foundation or to the Recreation Program of Northumberland Hall, Shannex, Amherst.
