Spence, Percy W. – Age 81, of Harrison Settlement passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Northumberland Hall (Shannex), Amherst. Born in Harrison Settlement, he was a son of the late Fielding and Harriett (Pettigrew) Spence. He is survived by daughters, Kim Bower (Jeremy), Amherst; Amanda Hirtle (Rick Pugsley), Amherst; sons, Rick (Sherry), Amherst; Perry (Tammy), Springhill; Allen (Nicole Harroun), Springhill; sisters, Stella Morris, Cambridge; Elizabeth McCulley (Allan), Parrsboro; Maureen Yorke (Robert), Parrsboro; a brother, George ‘Tom’ (Saundra), Parrsboro; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Diana (Pettigrew); a son, Gerald; sisters, Gladys, Eileen, Lavinia. In keeping with Percy’s wishes, a graveside service will be held at 2pm at Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Harrison Settlement Cemetery, Pastor David Forbes officiating. All are welcome!
