Bezanson (Hart) (MacKinnon), Rose E. - Age 71, of Amherst,
formerly of Economy passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the
Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Londonderry Station,
she was a daughter of the late George and Ada (Lake) Hart. She is survived by
daughters, Mildred Lambert, Amherst; Rebecca MacKinnon, Middle Stewiacke; a son,
Sandy MacKinnon (Crystal Devins), Brooks, Alberta; grandchildren, John Richard,
Katilyn, Clifford, Kecia, Kaylene, Zoraida; a great-grandson, Jaxon; sisters,
Dorothy Swan, Truro; Ann Kennedy, Middle Stewiacke; a brother, Perry Hart (Patty
Miller), Great Village; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her
husband, Willard MacKinnon; a sister, Mary Blaikie; a brother, Trenholm Hart.
In keeping with Rose’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held
at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of
Nova Scotia, Kidney Foundation of Canada (Atlantic Branch), Diabetes Canada
(Atlantic) or to a charity of choice.
