Margaret S. Brown

Brown, Margaret S. 'Marg' – Age 72. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Brown, just three months after the passing of her twin sister, Marie. Marg passed away peacefully on Saturday, September, 9th, 2023 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Avora 'Vodie' (Morris) Brown. Marg will be forever missed by sister, Katrina MacAloney (Danny), Parrsboro; nephews, Chris MacAloney (Leo), Halifax, Jordan MacAloney (Carrie), Gaspereau and niece, Keara MacAloney (Christien), Grande Prairie, Alberta. Also, special friends, Leo and Roxanne Dimmer, and their children, Spencer and Olivia Dimmer, all of Halifax. She leaves behind many treasured cousins and childhood friends; as well, five biological siblings that she had the pleasure of meeting in later years. Marg lived and worked in Toronto and later Halifax before returning to her hometown of Parrsboro in 2012. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
