McCulley, Edward H. ‘Eddy’ – Age 69, of Parrsboro passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro surrounded by family. Born in Parrsboro, he was the son of the late Donald and Muriel (Fulton) McCulley. Known as a kind-hearted man, Eddy was the foundation and anchor of his family. He graduated high school in Parrsboro before moving to British Columbia to work at the mills for a time. He then returned to his hometown to set down roots, raise his family and start what would become a lifelong career with the telephone company. Eddy was a hard-working and dedicated man. He was also a devoted father, brother, uncle and friend who always supported and cared for his family. He is survived by his companion, Nancy (Parker) Bennett; sons, John (Amber), Parrsboro; Chris (Jennifer), Moose River; sisters, Brenda Estabrooks, Sackville, N.B.; Sharon McCulley (Neil), Parrsboro; grandchildren, Ella and Jovie; nephews, Julian (Marci), Brett (Sarah), Riley (Ellen). He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In keeping with Eddy’s wishes, a private family service will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
