Trask, Susan M. – Age 68, of Parrsboro passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at the South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro surrounded by family. Born in Barrie, Ont., she was a daughter of Zenith (Canning) Rector, Parrsboro and the late Utley Rector. She is survived by her husband, Gerald ‘Jerry’ Trask; children, Sarah Gillie (Richard), Regina, Sask.; Steven Trask, Meadow Lake, Sask.; a sister, Barb Rector (Neil Hammond), Parrsboro; a brother, Bill Rector (Natalie), Parrsboro; grandchildren, Rebecca, Lliam, Austin, Avery; niece, Jennifer Price (Jason), Halifax; nephews, Andy Rector (Nancy), Whitehorse; Andrew McCulley, Enfield; great nephews, William and James Rector, Whitehorse. She was predeceased by her first husband, Wallace Byrne. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Pastor David Forbes officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro United Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to South Cumberland Community Care Centre Foundation, Parrsboro.
