Roberts, David R - Age 76, of Parrsboro passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the South Cumberland Community Care Center, Parrsboro. Born in Parrsboro, he was the son of the late Hilton and Gladys (Best) Roberts. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda (Patterson); daughter Melissa (Gary Adams); granddaughter Olivia, Parrsboro; grandsons, Jay (Makayla) and Ethan; great-granddaughter Aubree; step-great-grandson, Dexter; all of Truro; aunt Henrietta Best, Greenhill; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, James ‘Jim’; brother Kenneth; very special uncle Bill Best. In keeping with David’s wishes, a private family committal service will be held for both Dave and son Jim at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of choice.
