Rector, James E. – 29, of Advocate died Wednesday, April 11, 1990 as the result of a boating accident. Born in Parrsboro, he was the son of Lorna (Elliot) Rector and the late Clifton Rector. He is survived by his mother; his wife, Theresa Bennett; one daughter, Amanda; one son, Jesse Lee James; two sisters, Virginia (Mrs. Dwight MacGillivary), Advocate; Charlotte (Mrs. Danny Morris), Bathurst, N.B.; three brothers, Sherrard, Hopewell Cape, N.B.; Jeffery, Dartmouth; Anthony, Owen Sound, Ont.; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Greta Rector, New Salem. The body is at the Advocate United Church with visitation this evening 7-9 and where funeral service will be held Saturday, 2PM, Rev. Jean-Simms Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Advocate Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Advocate United Church or the Advocate School Hot Lunch Program.
