Ethel M. Rogers

Rogers, Ethel M. – 64, Moose River, Cumberland County, died Wednesday in
Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Lower Five Islands, she was a
daughter of the late James and Cora (Webb) Adams. She was employed with Simpsons
in Toronto for 15 years. She is survived by her husband, Afred; a daughter,
Helen (Mrs. Gerry Lisi), Milton, Ont.; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Cruicksank,
Parrsboro; Eva (Mrs. Diarmuid Swan), Toronto; Mrs. Julia Reid, Springhill; four
brothers, Fraser, John, both of Lower Five Islands; Charles, Toronto; Albert,
Tauntn, Mass.; two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband,
Frank L. Roberts; a sister, Mary; three brothers, Frank, Banford, James in
infancy. The body is in Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral will be 2 p.m.
Saturday in St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Moose River, Rev. Winthrop Jackson
officiating. Burial in church cemetery. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or
Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
